Return Policy

In-store Purchases.

Prior to delivery or pick up, you have five days from the date of purchase to change or cancel your order. If you choose to cancel your order, your money will be refunded in the form of store credit. However, after the delivery or pick up has taken place any change or cancellation is subject to management approval. If approved, merchandise must be returned immediately and in original condition. All returns will be processed a minimum 10% restocking/handling fee. Should you need our service to pick up the merchandise, an additional pick-up fee (varies by location) will be applied. NOTE! All Special Orders, “As Is” items, and items marked “Final Sale” are not returnable. A storage fee of $75 per month will be applied to any order held for over 90 days from the date of purchase.

On-line Purchases

Online purchases will be confirmed for product availability. If the products are available the order will be considered confirmed and will only be cancelled as an in-store credit for the full amount or subject to a 10% restocking /handling fee. If the online purchase is not available, we will contact the customer with the estimated time of arrival. At this point, if the approximate wait for the product is not suitable to the customer, you may cancel the order for a full refund.

NOTE! Any shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items shipped can only be returned, if in original and un-opened packaging. Any return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Inspiration will not accept any freight collect shipments.

We are unable to accept cancellations or returns for Special Order items (items not in stock), “As-Is”, Final Sale, discounted or sale items, mattresses, sofa beds or items damaged leaving the store.

Please note that “final sale” and clearance items are not returnable or exchangeable.

Warranty

INspiration offers a one-year limited warranty, to the original purchaser, against manufacturer defects towards labour and materials or replacements. This applies to all of our products, except floor models, “As-Is” or “Final Sale” items, and Special Order items. Inspiration is not responsible for the transportation of goods but can arrange pick-up/delivery within our regular delivery areas for a fee. Some manufacturer’s warranties are subject to transportation and/or labour fees.

Product Colours

inspirationfurniture.ca does its best to display product colors shown on this website as accurately as possible. However, because the colors you see depend on your monitor and conditions when photographed, inspirationfurniture.ca cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color is accurate. inspirationfurniture.ca will not be held responsible for any discrepancies between the colour displayed for any given product on inspirationfurniture.ca and the actual perceived colour for this product itself.

 

 


Shipping

Online Sales

Local Greater Vancouver BC On-line sales can be delivered through our local delivery service per below. For On-line sales going to destinations outside our local Greater Vancouver BC service area, shipping rates apply based on size and weight. Such 3rd-party shipping costs are entirely the responsibility of the customer. Inspiration can assist with shipping quotes if needed, but is not responsible for any freight damage caused by 3rd-party shipping. Claims will be between customer and the shipper.

Pick Up

For pick-up items, please call one (1) day before pick-up in order for us to prepare your furniture for inspection and loading. The phone number for your pick up location will be on your invoice. We will be able to assist you in loading your vehicle but are in no way responsible for securing your load for transit, nor responsible for any damages incurred during transportation. Please bring your receipt and government-issued ID used to make the purchase.

The warehouse is located at 61 Glacier St., Coquitlam, B.C.

Delivery

The delivery date will be confirmed with you 7-14 days in advance. For your convenience, deliveries will arrive at your home within a scheduled 4 hour time period. Deliveries are scheduled 5 days a week, Tue – Sat.. Delivery times are estimates and shall not be deemed fixed or guaranteed. Delays in delivery for reasons beyond our control are not subject to any refund or price adjustment.

Unfortunately, due to liability, we are prohibited to move any of your existing furniture. The area where your new furniture will be placed must be clear of any existing furniture before delivery. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

Preparing for your delivery

Secure low-hanging light fixtures
Putting rugs in place
Moving other furniture, pictures or art out of the way
Ensuring pets are out of the way

Before you purchase furniture, please measure the intended area in your home to be sure everything will fit accordingly. Measure the furniture by length, width and height to determine how much floor and wall space it will need. Measure the diagonal depth and width of the furniture to determine if it will fit through your home's entryways. We will not hoist furniture or remove windows. Please alert the store of anything unusual included in your delivery, including pets, narrow doors or hallways, security gates, or elevators to be used.

Can your street/driveway accommodate a 26-foot truck, clear of telephone wires, and any other obstructions? Will the furniture and team fit through all necessary doorways, hallways or stairways.? Is your room ready for the furniture to be delivered, with space cleared? During delivery, inspect your furniture and report any damage to our delivery team. We will work to resolve the issue promptly.

If at the time of delivery or pick-up you notice any damage, defect or deficiency, you MUST document this on the invoice. (NOTE: It is your responsibility to note on the invoice any damage or defects. Failure to report issues at this time could result in the inadmissibility of later claims.) If the delivery person has left your premises, you must call the store and report the issue within 24 hours.

Shipping Rates

Local Truck Delivery - Flat Rate for all items starting at $165.* Longer Distance delivery is possible at additional fees. Please see store for details or contact the delivery coordinator at 604-464-6080

*The starting rate may not apply to your postal code. Delivery charges are determined by your delivery destination, items ordered, level of delivery service required. For your location, please contact the store.

Out of Town Shipping

We are happy to accommodate out of town customers who make the effort to come visit us. Therefore, until full transport/product insurance is purchased, we will not release any items. Inspiration is not responsible for damages caused during transportation by a third party, any claims or issues must be handled with that third party directly. However, all merchandise shipped by a third party courier will be inspected by us and our experienced team prior to shipping. To ensure a thorough inspection, an additional 4-5 business days is required for the inspection prior to pick-up by the courier. Arranging this pick up can be done through your sales associate or through our warehouse coordinator (604-464-6080). Certain rules apply for GST/PST exemption. International Deliveries

Delivery is only available within Canada at this time.

Lead Times

Manufacturer lead times vary from 1 - 9 months. Some items may have a longer lead time due to demand and availability. If an order is urgent please contact us at info@inspirationfurniure.ca to discuss specific product lead times.

 

 


Price Match

We pride ourselves on providing fair prices and excellent service to all of our customers and the people of Vancouver. Therefore, we will price match any local competition of the same product advertised in local print. If you have already made your purchase and discover a price discrepancy within 30 days of the purchase, we will still honour our promise and provide the difference as a store credit.

 

 


Accepted Payment Methods

We try to be as flexible as possible when it comes to payment methods. We accept most major debit/credit including Union Pay. We accept cash, bank draft, and wire payments through our bank. We accept corporate and personal checks, but all checks must completely clear our bank before orders can be released.
