Furniture Delivery/Assembly

INspiration Furniture / Boconcept – Coquitlam, BC

Job Description

INspiration Furniture / Boconcept are looking for the right candidate to fill a full-time permanent position on our furniture delivery truck, based out of our busy Coquitlam warehouse.

Duties include but are not limited to; handling/loading, on-site assembly, and delivery of furniture in a safe and cautious manner in order to prevent damage or injury. Valid license and clean abstract are necessary.

Qualifying candidates will:

  • Be physically fit and able to repeatedly lift or carry items up to 80lbs.
  • Display strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Work well as part of a team and also on his/her own
  • Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and be able to provide clean drivers abstract for the past 5 years
  • Be professional and exhibit strong customer service skills
  • Have basic phone/computer skills (picture taking and sending via app)
  • Previous furniture delivery/assembly experience an asset (onsite training available)

Social Media Specialist

INspiration Furniture – Vancouver, BC

 

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to execute and support the implementation of our social media strategy across all marketing channels. You will mainly be responsible for monitoring and reporting, social community management, creating and compiling creative assets. 

About the Role

In this role, you should be detail-oriented and an excellent communicator. Balancing a creative eye with a strategic mind is essential as you will essentially be managing three separate brands. You will be expected to be flexible and adaptable and with that there will be opportunity to develop a schedule that works for you. This role will be a part-time position and a hybrid setup of in-office and remote working.

 Responsibilities

  • Strong digital communications skills with proven experience in managing an organization’s social media channels including
  • Planning, creating and writing social content for multiple social media channels including: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok and LinkedIn and other channels as appropriate.
  • Monitoring social inboxes and comments and responding as required.
  • Creating social graphics for all channels and customizing for each channel as appropriate.
  • Planning and executing social campaigns with a focus on growth and increased visibility.
  • Build and maintain relationships with collaborators including an understanding of the local influencer community.
  • Contributing creative ideas and recommendations to improve our social media presence.
  • Assisting in online and in-store marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, journalism or related discipline.
  • At least 1-2 years working experience in corporate communications or digital marketing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Graphic design skills and experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop etc.)
  • Strong writing skills
  • Photography and video editing skills
  • An interest in home decor and lifestyle brands considered an asset.

Remuneration based on experience.
